Update on Construction at Kendal at Oberlin

Construction was completed on 12 new cottages on the Kendal campus and all of them are now occupied. Welcome new residents!

Now the focus for building is the addition of 13 more assisted living suites in the Stephens Care Center. These new private suites are expected to be ready for occupancy some time in the spring of 2012. There will be a "country kitchen" addition for the wing that will create new options for dining in the Stephens Care Center. The addition will make another courtyard area that can become a therapy garden for the community.

As our Master Planning committee looks to the future, the emphasis will turn to our classic cottages. We'll be studying ways to make them appealing to future residents and competitive in today's market.
