Kendal at Oberlin’s Director of Nursing, Beth Stewart, was recognized at the annual meeting of Friends Services Alliance on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Beth, along with three other Aging Services professionals, are FSA’s Leadership Institute Class of 2021. FSA’s Leadership Institute seeks to promote leadership values based on Quaker values. The curriculum is designed to build and enhance self, team and organization for participants.

Since 2013, the FSA Leadership Institute has offered in-depth experiential learning opportunities for current and emerging senior leaders to deepen their understanding of leading in organizations that embrace Quaker values.

Friends Services Alliance (FSA) offers a range of services for the nonprofit senior living industry. FSA supports staff and governing boards of CCRCs/life plan communities, home care groups, foundations and others. Their approach is rooted in Quaker heritage and values, with a focus on best practices, the highest quality service and the belief that all people should be treated with dignity and respect.  

Located in Oberlin, Ohio, Kendal at Oberlin is a nonprofit life plan community serving older adults in the Quaker tradition.
