Welcome to Jameson House - a memory support neighborhood dedicated to providing physical settings that are sensitive to the aging process. The goal is to enhance quality of life, security and wellness. It offers memory support services for up to 12 residents living with mild to moderate cognitive changes, or dementia. Kendal at Oberlin’s Life Enrichment Coordinator provides customized, purposeful activities and encourages meaningful interactions with friends, volunteers and staff. Jameson House is designed to minimize distractions and alarms, promoting a pleasant, less stressful environment.
Our Philosophy
Grounded in our Kendal Values and Practices, we continually seek a better way to create “home”, filled with warmth, belonging and honoring the dignity and autonomy of each individual. Jameson House nurtures community and connectedness, offering choice and ensuring that each resident, regardless of cognitive ability, remains engaged with the community as a whole.
