Oberlin is a small college town with metropolitan amenities. Located in northeast Ohio, it is less than 25 miles from the Cleveland Hopkins international airport. Oberlin College is in the heart of the city, with world-class music from the Oberlin Conservatory, lectures and educational opportunities. Plan to visit the Allen Memorial Art Museum or the Weltzheimer-Johnston house, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The Apollo Theater is owned by Oberlin College. When not showing first-run movies, it is a laboratory for student film projects. Kendal is a short walk from downtown Oberlin, home to unique shops, galleries and restaurants.
