The assisted living community in Kendal’s Stephens Care Center is designed for residents who require a minimal amount of supervision or assistance throughout the day. It is staffed twenty-four hours a day by qualified personnel. And care center residents enjoy many of the same opportunities that are available to all Kendal at Oberlin residents:

- Fitness center, with lap and therapy pools
- Outdoor gardens and patios, paved outdoor trails
- Library
- Access to life-long learning classes, lectures and concerts that take place in the community
In addition, Stephens Care Center residents also enjoy the following amenities and services:

- Chef-prepared meals are included.
